Sint-Guido-Instuut

Best years in my life. Even if it didn't look like it then, I've the best memories from that school.

We received all different copies of old post cards and our task was to  transfer this picture/drawing on a bigger panel. First we had to draw it on a big sheet of paper, the size of the panel, so we could transfer the drawing to it later. Then use our techniques we learned at school to make it even better than the original.

The sea and sky is made with a special technique, the rest is painted normally (flat colour). We needed to make the paint colours by ourselves, so those were the exact same colour like on the original.

This was our final task, the big thing that decided if you pass or not. The "Box".

Each of us had one ‘box’ to decorate in a theme and colour he wanted.

My imagination of it was a calm beach and a sunset on an exotic place. For example Australia, Hawaii,.... I always wanted to go to one of those places.

These are the walls we had to decorate, paint and put wallpaper on it.

Here you have all the rest of my works made in Sint-Guido-Insituut. Doors, windows ans panels
